Dow to participate in The Science Festival in Minsk to promote science and chemistry among the younger generation
MINSK, Belarus - September 06, 2019 - Dow (NYSE: DOW) will take part in The Science Festival, an event dedicated to science and contemporary technologies to be held on September 7 at the Central Botanical Garden in Minsk. Science Festival will be organized in the form of a picnic and will involve scientists who will speak about achievements and discoveries in their respective areas.

Dow will focus the students and young specialists’ attention to the importance of chemistry and the prestige of chemical and technical education. The company’s experts will run a series of interactive master-classes, including chemical experiments and speak about everyday life chemistry.
The Festival is also supported by the National Academy of Sciences, Expirimentus Scientific Museum, School of Digital Technologies and many others. All-Russia Science Festival NAUKA 0+ will present its interactive platform devoted to the 150-year anniversary celebration of Mendeleev’s periodic table of elements.
