Dow invites to virtual lecture-hall at the Science Festival NAUKA 0+ in Moscow
Moscow, Russia - October 5, 2020 - Dow (NYSE: DOW) will participate in All-Russian Science Festival NAUKA 0+, which will take place on October 10-11 and 17-18 in Moscow. The event will be held in offline and new online format. Participants are invited to learn more about the latest innovations, find out what scientists do and what prospects scientific research has to offer today. Festival online visitors will be able to see the Museum of Science and listen to lectures, take part in various master classes and discover the fascinating world of chemistry in the Dow virtual laboratory.

The platform proved to be an excellent opportunity for the Company to foster the younger generation on chemistry science and its contribution in creating a safe and comfortable future. This year the event will be held in a new digital format and I hope that it will allow inviting even more students to immerse in the exciting world of chemistry," said Arthur Eritspokhov, Dow Russia and CIS regional leader.
Dow program at the Festival on-line lecture-hall will include:
- A Journey into the World of Chemistry and Chemical Technology master class, where schoolchildren will be able to learn more about chemical elements and their interactions;
- Tricks of Science show, where children will see the most spectacular and large-scale experiments. After the show participants will be able to take part in the Instagram contest by posting the photos of their own experiments;
- an exciting interactive game NaukaQuest!, the winners will receive memorable giveaways.
Organizers of the Festival: Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Government of Moscow, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Russian Academy of Sciences. Among the Festival partners are ROSATOM, En+ Group, ODK, HUAWEI and others. In 2019, more than 940,000 people attended the Science Festival.
