Arthur Eritspokhov, Regional Leader of Dow in Russia and CIS, spoke with the chief-editor of RBC+, Yury Lvov, discussing innovations in the chemical industry to accelerate actions in solving global ecological challenges meanwhile boosting business growth in diversified markets such as Russia and the CIS. The interview was published on RBC+ on June 27. RBC is one of the most popular national business daily media (newspaper, TV and digital).
Answering the pressing question about the Company’s efforts toward ecological issues Arthur highlighted that protecting our Planet is one of Dow key priorities. As an example, he underlined Dow’s leading role in Alliance to End Plastic Waste to advance solutions that eliminate plastic waste in the environment.
The journalist asked about the aim of DowDuPont recent merger and separation. “By merging the highly complementary portfolios of Dow and DuPont and subsequently creating three independent industry leaders, the DowDuPont transaction maximized the value for all its stakeholders,” answered Arthur.
Speaking about Dow’s business in Russia and CIS Arthur stated that the region is a strategic market for the Company with its vast opportunities, high potential, qualified and passionate people. The editor was interested in Dow’s plans to invest and develop the local production. Arthur noted that last year JV Dow Izolan signed a Protocol of Intent with the local Administration on additional investments to expand production and storage facilities of its plant in Vladimir. Also Dow has been developing the project for Ramenskoye site’s optimization by increasing the warehouses capacities and products range.
